Swim Level Information
Our swim clinic offers three levels tailored to different experience levels and skills, providing a focused and engaging experience for all participants, from those new to competitive swimming to seasoned swim team members.

Each level is thoughtfully structured to provide the best possible environment for every swimmer to grow, learn, and excel!
Level 1
Swimmers who maybe have not been on a team or have limited competitive experience. Level 1 swimmers can swim a 1/2 lap of Freestyle and backstroke, know the basics of butterfly and breastroke but typically need work on all the strokes and maybe need to be taught Butterfly or breastroke. This group is typically under 8 years of age. If swimmers have not been on a team, they have already achieved a high level in lessons and can swim in deep water without any assistance.
Level 2
Swimmers who have been on a team at least 1 season and are typically under 12 years of age. This group will focus on all of the Level 3 elements with more focus on teaching for stroke improvement. The pace of this group will be moderate but we will also do a lot of repetitions in order to hone all the skills above. These swimmers may need to be taught some of the turns with a focus on improving dives and underwater work. Sets will be geared to allow the repetitions to be done in a moderate fashion.
Level 3
Swimmers who have been on a swim team at least 1 season and are 10 + years old. They can do multiple laps of freestyle, Backstroke as well as a full lap of Butterfly and Breastroke. For instance; if they are 10 or 11 and have only 1 year of swim team experience, perhaps they would benefit more in Level 2.

The focus will be on improving stroke technique, not necessarily teaching the stroke in this level. We will do Turns for every stroke as well as all the IM turns. Diving and underwater work will be taught and improved. Finishes in every stroke will be taught, if needed, and practiced. All drills for every stroke will be taught and/or improved upon and we will do all of this in well paced sets with a lot of repetitions on the skill set we will work on that day.
